Introduction
Welcome to the Reanimal Trophy Guide & Roadmap! If you’re looking for a quick and straightforward Platinum Trophy, this is an excellent game to add to your collection. With an estimated completion time of just 2–6 hours and no difficulty settings or online requirements to worry about, earning the Platinum is relatively simple.
You can complete the entire game solo or play through it in co-op. Most trophies are tied to story progression or specific actions during certain chapters, and any missed chapter-specific trophies can generally be earned later using Chapter Replay.
However, there are a few important exceptions to keep in mind. Friends Reunited, Prayer for the Dying, and Beneath the Mask are listed as missable trophies because some of their requirements depend on collectibles or actions that cannot simply be completed through chapter replay. In particular, finding all five Coffins in one continuous playthrough is necessary to unlock the Secret Ending. Similarly, you must discover all five Hidden Statues in the same playthrough to activate the final statue and obtain the associated Mask.
Reanimal also limits your ability to revisit areas. Once you move forward, certain locations become inaccessible, meaning you may lose your opportunity to collect something you overlooked. For that reason, take your time exploring each area before progressing.
For the safest route to the Platinum, follow a chapter-by-chapter walkthrough and keep an eye on your trophy progress as you advance. If you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, backing up your save to cloud storage can provide an additional precaution before tackling sections with important collectibles.
As long as you pay attention to the Coffins and Hidden Statues during your initial run, you should be able to earn the Platinum Trophy in a single playthrough without much trouble.

Story Progression Trophies
Continue through the opening section of the game until you reach the small forest town. Follow the main path and work through any obstacles that stand between you and the settlement. This trophy is tied to story progression, so keep moving forward until the town is reached.
Progress through the story until your friend is threatened by the birds. Stay alert during this sequence and focus on reaching your companion rather than rushing past the encounter. Complete the rescue to earn the trophy.
Keep following the main story until you arrive at Sand City. Explore the route ahead carefully, deal with any threats in your way, and continue through the required encounters. The trophy unlocks when you reach the city.
Advance through the story until the group has the opportunity to reunite. Keep progressing through the main objectives and complete the necessary encounters leading to the reunion. The trophy is awarded once your friends are back together.
Continue following the main objectives until you find a route into the breach. Pay attention to the surrounding environment and look for the path that allows you to proceed. Entering the breach will complete the requirement for this story trophy.
Complete all the main story chapters and reach the ending of the campaign. Optional collectibles and miscellaneous challenges can be handled along the way, but finishing the main story is the only requirement for this trophy. Keep in mind that completing the campaign does not automatically guarantee the secret ending.
This is the completion trophy, requiring you to unlock everything associated with the game’s trophy list. Finish the main story, collect the required items, complete the miscellaneous challenges, and take care of any ending-specific requirements. Check your trophy progress regularly so you can identify anything you missed before wrapping up your run.
Collectibles and Exploration Trophies
Keep an eye out for places where your character can sit down and rest during the journey. Use 10 different resting spots throughout the world to complete the challenge. Since exploration opportunities can be easy to overlook, check side areas and pause whenever you find a suitable place to sit.
Search the environment carefully for hidden statues and interact with each one to pay your respects. Do not limit your exploration to the main route, as some statues may be tucked away in optional areas. Keep track of the ones you have already visited to avoid leaving any behind.
Look for posters attached to walls and other visible surfaces as you explore each area. Approach every poster you discover and tear it down. Check side rooms and less obvious paths before leaving a location, since a missed poster may require returning to an earlier section.
Explore each chapter thoroughly and search optional areas for collectible masks. Look beyond the obvious route and investigate spaces that are easy to pass without noticing. Collect every mask required by the game, and review your progress before moving on from areas you may not be able to revisit immediately.
Search every chapter in the opening part of the game for its hidden secrets. Explore side paths, inspect suspicious corners, and check areas away from the main objective. Make sure you have found everything in the first three chapters before considering this section complete.
Continue your search through the middle three chapters, checking optional routes and hidden corners as you progress. Do not assume an area is fully explored just because the main objective is complete. Search each section carefully and confirm that all its secrets have been discovered.
Thoroughly explore the final three chapters and collect every secret hidden throughout these areas. Check branching paths, inspect the surroundings, and avoid rushing toward the next objective. If the trophy does not unlock, revisit the sections you explored most quickly and look for anything you may have missed.
This trophy requires you to find every coffin and meet the conditions for the secret ending. Explore optional areas carefully throughout the campaign, paying attention to places that are easy to overlook. Once all the required coffins have been found, complete the necessary ending sequence to unlock the trophy.
Combat and Enemy Trophies
Defeat every critter required for this challenge as you make your way through the game. Be thorough when exploring areas containing enemies, and do not leave a critter alive if you have the opportunity to deal with it. Keep track of encounters across the campaign so that you can identify any missed enemies later.
During the encounter involving the leader of the Spider Kids, look for an opportunity to take the crown. Stay alert throughout the confrontation and focus on the objective rather than simply trying to defeat every enemy. Once you successfully steal the crown, the trophy requirement will be fulfilled.
During the fight against the Mother, concentrate on eliminating the Spider Kids that appear during the encounter. You need to kill 10 of them, so take your time and prioritize the smaller enemies whenever they are available. Keep fighting until the required number has been defeated.
When you get the opportunity to confront the Sniper again, make sure you complete the encounter instead of simply escaping. Focus on the relevant objective during this sequence and finish the confrontation to earn the trophy.
Miscellaneous and Situational Trophies
When you encounter Sniffer, focus on surviving the sequence and finding a way to escape. Keep moving, pay attention to the surrounding hazards, and follow the available route forward. Successfully getting away from Sniffer completes the requirement.
While exploring the cinema, look for the popcorn machine and interact with it to break it open. Do not leave the area without checking this object, as it is an optional action rather than a main story objective. Once the machine has been smashed open, the trophy should unlock.
Look for the sightseer near the pit during the relevant section of the game. Approach the character and push them into the pit to complete this unusual challenge. Make sure you perform the action before progressing too far beyond the encounter.
Explore the clock tower and look for the petrified children scattered throughout the area. Break every one you find before leaving. Search the entire section carefully, including spots outside the most direct route, to make sure none of the petrified kids are missed.
Keep an eye out for the frightened pig during your adventure. Approach it and interact with it in the way the game allows to comfort the animal. This is an easy optional objective to overlook if you rush through the area, so take a moment to check your surroundings.
Find the piano during your exploration and interact with it to play. You do not need to treat this as a major story objective, but you should make sure to use the instrument when you come across it. Playing the piano completes this miscellaneous trophy.
Whenever you have access to the boat, keep travelling rather than ending the ride as soon as possible. The trophy requires you to cover a considerable distance while using it. Continue sailing until the required distance has been reached.
Missable and Failure-Related Trophies
This trophy requires the opposite of a successful rescue. During the relevant story sequence, fail to save your friend and allow the fatal outcome to occur. If you have already completed the encounter successfully, you may need to replay the relevant section or start another run, depending on the game’s chapter-select options.
During a section where you can fire a weapon while your friend is nearby, aim carefully but deliberately allow a shot to hit your companion. This trophy depends on friendly fire, so make sure the shot actually connects with your friend rather than an enemy or the surrounding environment.
Weapon, Vehicle, and Environmental Challenges
Search for the bunker and locate the device or keypad used to enter a code. Interact with it and input the correct secret code to complete the challenge. Make a note of any clues you find nearby, as they may help you determine the required combination.
When you reach the cannon section, look for the secondary target rather than focusing exclusively on the main objective. Adjust your aim and fire at the alternate target to complete this challenge. If the trophy does not unlock, make sure your shot hits the secondary target itself.
During the naval sections, keep an eye out for mines in the water and destroy them whenever possible. You must clear 20 mines within a single playthrough, so avoid skipping opportunities to deal with them. Track your progress as you go, since the requirement is not simply to destroy 20 mines across separate runs.
While driving, use your vehicle to crash into other cars and wreck them. You need to destroy 24 cars, so take advantage of opportunities to hit traffic or parked vehicles along the route. Keep driving and damaging additional cars until the full requirement has been met.
