Platinum Roadmap

  • Stage 1 – Insane Co-op Campaign & Collectibles: Start your playthrough on Insane difficulty with a co-op partner (local or online). Focus on grabbing all PC-exclusive collectibles and completing the extra campaign missions to knock out the story, co-op, difficulty, and collectible trophies in one efficient sweep.
  • Stage 2 – Offline Cleanup via Chapter Select: If you missed any specific combat feats, miscellaneous single-player trophies, or a stray collectible, utilize Chapter Select. You can lower the difficulty to breeze through this step.
  • Stage 3 – The Multiplayer & “Seriously” Grind: Transition to online matchmaking. You will spend the vast majority of your 100+ hours here winning matches across all 20 maps and slowly grinding your way to 10,000 online kills for the infamous Seriously 1.0 trophy.

Key Trophy Tactics & Strategy

Campaign & Co-op Exploits

  • The Insane Co-op Loophole: If you are struggling with Insane difficulty, you can manipulate the co-op settings to make it easier.
    • Online Co-op: Player 1 can play on Insane while Player 2 plays on a lower difficulty. Player 1 will earn the Insane trophies, and Player 2 will earn trophies for their respective difficulty.
    • Local Co-op: If Player 1 is on Insane and Player 2 (using a different account) is on Easy, both players will earn the Insane trophy upon completion. If using a guest account for Player 2, the main profile remains on Insane while the guest clears out enemies on Easy.

Multiplayer Tracking & Mechanics

  • Manual Tracking is Mandatory: The in-game War Journal does not track specific trophy progress accurately. The Statistics page mixes private and public match data, which can ruin your counts. Create a manual checklist or spreadsheet to track your map wins, weapon executions, and gametype victories. You do not want to be stuck at 19/20 map wins with no idea which map you are missing.
  • The “Seriously 1.0” Grind: You need 10,000 kills in competitive online matchmaking. There is no shortcut for this. Pace yourself, stick to high-kill gametypes, and rely on your manual tracker to monitor your progress toward the 10K mark.
  • Annex / King of the Hill Update: Thanks to Title Update 1, progress for Annex-related trophies can now be earned in public Social or Competitive matches under the King of the Hill (KOTH) or Blitz gametypes. You can also still boost these in private matches if preferred.
  • Second Controller Boosting: A handful of the multiplayer trophies can be completed using a second controller in local/private lobbies. Use this to quickly knock out weapon-specific executions or revives if you are struggling to get them in live matchmaking.

PS / XBOX / PC Perform 5 perfect active reloads in a row (on any difficulty)
