Introduction

Welcome to the Silent Hill Townfall Trophy Guide! Developed by Screen Burn (formerly No Code) and published by Annapurna Interactive in collaboration with Konami, Townfall offers a unique first-person perspective set in a fictional Scottish town, featuring a standalone narrative distinct from earlier entries in the franchise.

Mechanically and structurally, the game shares similarities with the Silent Hill 2 remake, blending open-ended town exploration with tight, linear narrative beats. A speedrun playthrough can be completed in under 2 hours, making the 4-hour speedrun requirement for Fleeting Visit very lenient. Collectible tracking and cumulative combat/stealth totals carry over between runs. Endings are determined primarily by the ratio of Discoveries (Clues and Documents) collected relative to your total enemy kill count.

Trophy Roadmap

Step 1: “Abandoned” Ending, All Collectibles & Optional No-Manual-Saves Run [8 Hours]

Focus your first playthrough on gathering every collectible while eliminating all enemies encountered.

  • No Manual Saves (Reject The Help): Unlocking this trophy requires completing the game without making a manual save after the initial mandatory prompt. Auto-saves remain active throughout, and because “Story Mode” provides generous healing items, completing this step on your initial run is straightforward. If preferred, you can reserve this step for a dedicated third speedrun playthrough.
  • Miscellaneous Trophies: If attempting Reject The Help during Step 1, defer combat/misc trophies like Long-Range Masonry, Pinpoint Inaccuracy, and Pull! to New Game+, as these are easiest to attempt with manual save reloads.
  • Ending Trigger: Killing all available enemies guarantees triggering the Abandoned ending, which naturally aligns with a full collectible exploration run.

Step 2: “Justice” Ending Speedrun & NG+ Setup [3 Hours]

Start a New Game+ playthrough. This mode enables the requirements for the two joke endings (Dog and Sci-fi) while allowing you to target the lower-kill main endings.

  • Requirements: Kill as few enemies as possible while recollecting every Clue and Document to alter your Discoveries ratio for the Justice ending.
  • Speedrun Target (Fleeting Visit): Aim to finish in under 4 hours. You can toggle the speedrun timer in Game Options > Show Time Played. The timer pauses inside the main Pause menu, but continues running during inventory management and cutscenes—be sure to skip all cutscenes immediately.

Step 3: Save Reloads for “Dog”, “Sci-fi”, and “Forever” Endings [2 Hours]

After securing the Justice ending, reload specific manual saves created during your NG+ run to quickly trigger the remaining alternate finishes:

  • The Dog Ending
  • The Sci-fi Ending
  • The Forever Ending

(Optional) Step 4: Standalone Speedrun & Clean-up Run [2 Hours]

If you avoided combining the speedrun (Fleeting Visit) or the no-manual-save run (Reject The Help) during earlier steps, execute a minimal third playthrough focusing solely on critical-path puzzle solutions and necessary combat. Focusing strictly on mandatory objectives allows you to clear the campaign in roughly 90 to 120 minutes.
